Release Notes — v1.10.0
Cosmesoft v1.10
This release brings a major update to the consultation experience, along with improvements across client records, bookings, POS, My Team and Rosters.
The focus is on making everyday clinical and operational work clearer, faster and easier to manage.
Consults and Clinical Records
A Clearer Consultation Workflow
The consultation workspace has been reorganised around the work you need to complete.
You can now move more clearly between:
- Treatments for clinical notes, products and treatment mapping
- Compliance for forms and prescriptions
- Sign-off to see what still needs attention before the consultation is completed
- Photos for treatment images
This makes it easier to see where you are in the consultation and what is still outstanding.
Improved Prescription Requests
Prescription requests are now easier to manage from the consultation.
Practitioners can prepare and send a prescription request to an eligible prescriber, while prescribers can review requests from Scripts to Sign.
If a request is declined, the reason is shown so it can be reviewed before another request is sent.
Sync Prescriptions from MediApp
If a client is linked to MediApp but an expected prescription is not showing in Cosmesoft, you can now use Sync from MediApp to check for the latest prescription information.
Finish Your Part While Review Is Pending
Practitioners can use Finish my part when their work is complete but another authorised person still needs to review or sign something.
The consultation remains editable until it is finalised.
Reopen a Completed Consultation
A finalised consultation can now be reopened for amendment when a correction is required.
Cosmesoft records the change in the Activity Log and warns you when the related cart has already reached POS or been paid.
Quick Consult Shows the Full Service Catalogue
Quick Consult can now use any available non-internal clinic service, rather than being limited to services already assigned to the practitioner.
Faster Treatment Notes
Injectable treatment notes now support selecting and inserting multiple saved note templates together.
View Previous Treatment History During a Consult
You can now review a client’s previous treatment notes without leaving the current consultation.
Open Treatment History to view past consultations, including previous notes and dosage maps, so you can quickly refer back to earlier treatments while continuing the current consult.
Dosage Maps and Photos
Running Dose Totals
Injectable dosage maps now show a running Total dose for each product while you chart treatment points.
Draw Directly on Treatment Maps
You can now annotate dosage maps using freehand drawing tools including:
- Pen
- Eraser
- Colours
- Undo
Drawing and dose-point placement use separate modes to help prevent accidental changes.
Focus Mode
Use Focus Mode when you need a larger workspace for treatment mapping.
See Product Stock While Charting
Product selectors now show whether a product is:
- In stock
- Out of stock
- Not stocked
This gives clinicians more context while recording treatment without preventing clinical documentation when stock is unavailable.
Upload Client Photos by QR Code
Photos can now be uploaded from another device by scanning a QR code from the client's Photos area.
This makes it easier to take photos on a phone or tablet and have them appear in the client record.
Clients
Improved MediApp Client Import
MediApp client import and matching have been improved to make it easier to bring client records into Cosmesoft and identify existing clients.
Merge Duplicate Client Records
Duplicate client records can now be merged to help keep client history together.
Managed Profiles
Cosmesoft now supports Managed Profiles for clients who may share contact details, such as family members.
Edit Shared Clients
Shared client records can now be edited where your access allows it.
Bookings and Calendar
Move Unpaid Bookings Until the End of the Day
Unpaid bookings can now be moved until the end of the clinic's local day.
Paid bookings become locked once the appointment has started.
Client Notifications Are Off by Default When Moving a Booking
When moving or duplicating an appointment, Notify Client options now start switched off.
Choose SMS, Email or WhatsApp only when you want Cosmesoft to send a notification.
Clearer No-Show Bookings
Bookings marked as No Show are now clearly identified on the Calendar.
Remove Cancelled Bookings from the Calendar
Cancelled appointments can now be dismissed from the Calendar grid.
The booking is only removed from the calendar view. Its history is still retained.
Online Booking Alerts for Staff
Each location can now send an Online Booking Alert when a client completes an online booking.
Alerts can be sent by SMS, Email or both to the booked practitioner or another selected active team member.
These alerts are separate from client booking confirmations and reminders.
Multiple Online Booking Categories
A service can now appear under more than one category on the Online Booking site without creating duplicate services.
Point of Sale
Start Sales from Today's Clients
POS now includes Today's Clients, giving you a quicker way to start a sale for clients with appointments at the selected location that day.
More Accurate Manual Pricing
When entering a final Treatment Series price or editing supported POS totals, Cosmesoft now keeps the exact amount entered down to the cent.
Where a total needs to be split across related lines, Cosmesoft automatically balances the cents so the values add up correctly.
Partial Refunds
You can now refund only part of the quantity originally purchased instead of refunding the entire line.
Set Gift Voucher Expiry Dates
Gift voucher expiry dates can now be reviewed and changed while creating the voucher at POS.
My Team and Collaborators
More Ways to Filter My Team
My Team now includes Location and Capability filters, making it easier to find the right person without opening each profile.
Manage Prescribing Access
Eligible team members can be given Can prescribe access, allowing them to receive and review prescription requests in Scripts to Sign.
Shared Access for Clinical Collaborators
Clinical Collaborators can now be given more specific Shared Access to the services, forms and injectable treatment profiles they need to work with.
Rosters
More Flexible Roster Times
Roster start and end times can now be selected in 10-minute increments.
Better Repeating Rosters Across Timezones
Repeating roster end dates now use the selected location's local timezone, helping the series finish on the intended date.
Roster Access Follows the Location
Roster permissions are now location-specific.
A linked group member with roster access at one location does not automatically receive roster access at another.
Other Improvements
This release also includes additional fixes and improvements across forms, treatment profiles, My Day, Business Agreements, account access and general usability.
These include improved detection when a form or treatment profile template has changed, more accurate My Day figures, fixed-period Business Agreement fees and improvements to sign-in and password reset flows.
