About Business Group Management

Business Group Management in Cosmesoft allows you to connect multiple independent clinic businesses into a unified group. This feature is designed for franchise owners, business networks, or clinics that share resources like staff, supervisors, and inventory.

Business Groups may also be referred to as Linked Businesses or Connected Organisations.

What Business Group Mgt covers

This module provides the structural framework for cross-business collaboration:

  • Business Connectivity — Securely invite and link other clinic businesses to your primary organisation.
  • External Staffing — Share staff members between linked businesses while maintaining clear role permissions and rosters.
  • Supervisor Support — Add external Nurses or Supervisors who can provide oversight and prescribing access across multiple group members.
  • Group Settlements — Track transactions and process payouts between linked businesses via group-agreement contracts.
  • Shared Inventory — (In Development) Manage stock movements and procurement across the entire group from a central warehouse.

Why it matters

Correctly using Business Group Management ensures that:

  • Growth is scalable — Onboard new franchise partners or branch locations without creating entirely separate systems.
  • Clinical oversight is seamless — Enable Doctors and Prescribers to oversee treatments across multiple sites through a single login.
  • Reporting is unified — Gain a bird’s-eye view of your entire network’s performance through aggregated group analytics.
  • Loyalty is standard — Offer group-wide reward programs that allow clients to earn and redeem points at any member location.

How it fits into your workflow

  • Unified Team View — See all staff members (internal and external) across your network in a single list.
  • Shared Clinical Records — Authorised supervisors can access consultation data and prescribe treatments for any business within the group.
  • Cross-Location Booking — Allow clients to browse availability and book appointments at any group location from a single portal.

Access and permissions

  • Inviting Businesses — Restricted to Owners and Admins of the parent organisation.
  • Managing External Roles — Managers can promote or demote external members to control their access within a specific branch.
  • Clinical Access — External Supervisors have access to client records and consultation notes only for the appointments they are assigned to oversee.
