About Contracts

Contracts in Cosmesoft allow you to set up formal revenue-share and commission agreements between your clinics, staff members or businesses you work with. Once active, a contract automatically tracks transactions and manages the lifecycle of settlements and payouts.

Contracts may also be referred to as Agreements, Revenue Shares, or Commission Fees in some parts of the product.

What Contracts cover

The Contracts module provides the legal and financial framework for your practitioner agreements.

  • Agreement Identity — Commencement dates, expiry rules, and auto-renewal toggles.
  • Party Assignment — Linking the agreement to specific organisation units, staff members, or external businesses.
  • Commission Logic — Defining percentage-based or flat-fee rates for services and retail items.
  • Settlement Terms — Setting automated payout frequencies (e.g., weekly or monthly) and specific settlement days.
  • Document Management — Attaching and storing legal PDF or image-based versions of the signed agreement.

Why it matters

Correctly managing your contracts ensures that:

  • Payouts are automated — Eliminate manual spreadsheets by letting the system calculate commission after every sale.
  • Compliance is met — Maintain a digital trail of all signed agreements and their active periods.
  • Profitability is visible — Track exactly how much revenue is being shared versus retained by the clinic.
  • Relationships are clear — Define precise terms for B2B partnerships and group-wide business agreements.

How it fits into your workflow

  • My Team — Contracts are linked directly to staff profiles to drive individual payout accounts.
  • POS — Every sale involving an item covered by a contract triggers a commission calculation in real-time.
  • Analytics — Aggregated data from settled contracts provides a bird's-eye view of clinic performance.
  • Business Group Mgt — Group agreements manage settlements between parent and member organisations (e.g. Franchisor and Franchisee)
