Third Party App Connection

Available to Administrators and Managers with the appropriate permissions.

Cosmesoft supports connection with approved third-party applications to streamline your clinic’s workflow. By connecting external software, you can sync data seamlessly, improve internal workflows and enhance client engagement — all within your Cosmesoft account

Currently Supported Connections

- Mediapp

Connecting Mediapp allows you to:

  • Review and import appointments directly into Cosmesoft’s calendar
  • Automatically match existing client records based on basic personal details
  • Populate the Archive tab in the client file with past Visits and Product Lists from Mediapp

Birdeye (Coming Soon!)

When connected, Birdeye will automatically send Google review requests 4 hours after a sale is completed — boosting your clinic’s online presence.
Note! A Birdeye subscription is required to use this feature. Review request settings must be configured directly in Birdeye.


How to Connect a Third-Party App

1. From the left-hand menu, select Account to open the dropdown

2. Click on App Connect

You’ll see any existing connections, showing:

  • Application type
  • Account
  • Notes
  • Date Registered
  • Status
  • Connection status (traffic light system)
  • Actions: Test, Edit, Delete

3. Add a New Application

Click Add Application, then follow the relevant steps below.


Setting Up Mediapp Connection

  1. Select Mediapp from the list
  2. On the right-hand menu:
    - Set the Status to Active
    - Enter the user’s: Username, Password, Company ID, Notes (e.g., which Mediapp clinic this connects to)
    Optional: Enable Autosync to receive reminders about new appointments whenever the calendar loads
  3. Click Save
  4. The Traffic Light indicator will be Red. Click Test to initiate the connection. If successful, the indicator turns Green. If incorrect details were entered, the connection will fail
  5. Once connected and if permissions are correctly set, a pop-up will alert you to new Mediapp appointments each time the calendar is accessed.

Setting Up Birdeye Connection

  1. Select Birdeye from the application list
  2. Request and enter the API Key and Business ID from your Administrator
  3. Click Save
  4. The Traffic Light indicator will be Red. Click Test to validate the connection. If successful, it will turn Green. If credentials are incorrect, the connection will fail
  5. Once connected, review requests will be sent 4 hours after a completed sale, following Birdeye’s configured rules and timing windows.

Managing Connections

Once a third-party app is connected, Cosmesoft will begin syncing data based on your configuration.
You can return to App Connect at any time to test, edit, or remove integrations.
