# How to install the Cosmesoft app

## How to install the Cosmesoft app

Use this guide to install Cosmesoft One on your desktop, iPhone/iPad, or Android device.

> **Browser support:** Cosmesoft One is only fully supported on **Google Chrome**. Install and use Chrome on desktop, Android, iPhone, and iPad for the supported app experience. Safari may expose some iOS notification capability, but it is not the fully supported Cosmesoft One browser.

## Before you begin

-   Sign in to Cosmesoft at least once in your browser so the app loads correctly before installing.
-   Use **Google Chrome** wherever possible. Cosmesoft One is only fully supported on Chrome; other browsers may work in limited ways but are not the supported app experience.

| iPhone or iPad | Chrome | **Chrome is the supported browser for Cosmesoft One. Safari may be required only where iOS notification behaviour depends on Apple platform support; this does not make Safari the fully supported Cosmesoft One browser.** |

## **Desktop — macOS / Windows (Chrome)**

1.  Open **Chrome** and go to your Cosmesoft web address.
2.  Look at the right-hand end of the address bar for the **Install icon** (a small screen with a downward arrow). Click it, then click **Install** to confirm.

If you don't see the icon: click the **three-dot menu (⋮) → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app…**, then **Install**.

**Result:**

-   **macOS:** Cosmesoft One opens in its own window and appears in your Applications folder and Launchpad. Drag it to the Dock for one-click access.
-   **Windows:** Cosmesoft One is added to your Start menu. Chrome may offer to pin it to the taskbar and create a desktop shortcut.

## **iPhone / iPad (Chrome — supported app experience)**

-   Open **Chrome** and go to your Cosmesoft web address.
-   Tap the **Share icon** or **More menu (⋮)**, depending on your Chrome version.
-   Tap **Add to Home Screen**.
-   Adjust the name if you like, then tap **Add**.

Cosmesoft One now sits on your home screen and opens in its own full-screen window. Chrome is the supported browser experience for Cosmesoft One on iPhone and iPad.

## **Android (Chrome)**

-   Open **Chrome** and go to your Cosmesoft web address.
-   Tap the **three-dot menu (⋮)** at the top right.
-   Tap **Add to Home screen** (may read **Install app**), then **Add** / **Install** to confirm.

Cosmesoft One is added to your home screen and app drawer, and runs as a full app — including notifications.

## **After installing**

-   **Opening it:** Launch Cosmesoft One from your dock, taskbar, Start menu, home screen, or app drawer.
-   **Staying signed in:** The installed app remembers your session, so you generally won't need to log in every time.
-   **Updates:** Nothing to update manually — it always loads the latest version automatically.

## **Removing the app**

-   **macOS:** Open the app, three-dot menu → **Uninstall**, or remove from Applications folder. Also manageable at `chrome://apps`.
-   **Windows:** Open the app, three-dot menu → **Uninstall**, or via **Settings → Apps**. Also at `chrome://apps`.
-   **iPhone/iPad:** Press and hold the icon → **Remove App → Delete**.
-   **Android:** Press and hold the icon → **Uninstall** / **Remove**.
