# About Cosmesoft One

> **Browser support:** Cosmesoft One is only fully supported on Google Chrome. Use Chrome wherever possible for the supported app experience. On iPhone and iPad, Apple platform limitations mean push notifications may require Safari; this exception is covered in the install and notification steps.

## **About Cosmesoft One**

You can install Cosmesoft One as an app on your desktop, phone, or tablet — so it lives on your dock, taskbar, or home screen instead of a browser tab. Once installed, it opens in its own clean window with no address bar, loads faster, and behaves just like any other app on your device.

This works using a technology called a **Progressive Web App (PWA)**. There's nothing to download from an app store — you install it straight from your browser in under a minute.

Cosmesoft One is the same Cosmesoft you already use in your browser, packaged to run like a native app:

-   **No app store required** — install directly from Chrome
-   **Its own window** — no address bar, tabs, or browser chrome
-   **Faster access** — launches straight from your dock, taskbar, Start menu, home screen, or app drawer
-   **Always up to date** — served from the web, so it automatically loads the latest version; there's nothing to manually update
